Vermont Laser Vision offers free LASIK evaluations. During the appointment you meet with members of the LASIK team who walk you through the process. You also have the opportunity to meet with Dr. McCormick to discuss your candidacy for laser vision correction. Together, you and Dr. McCormick will decide which procedure is best for you based upon your individual desires.
schedule an appointmentWe offer two options for a preoperative evaluation – a brief screening exam and a complete evaluation. If you choose the brief exam, expect to spend approximately one hour at our office. You will have basic screening tests and Dr. McCormick will give you the results. If you choose the complete evaluation, expect to spend approximately 2-3 hours with our staff at your preoperative appointment. For those patients who schedule a complete evaluation, we will do everything you need to determine if you are a candidate including a variety of detailed measurements of your eyes and a dilated eye exam. No payment is required for either exam option. Whether or not you are a good candidate for laser surgery, you will have the opportunity to meet with Dr. McCormick to learn about the results of your testing as well as your options.
